Employs the use of high intensity magnets within a rotating drum. Available with Ferrite or Rare Earth magnets. 

Ferrous materials and other suspended materials are automatically removed from the fluid, relatively dry. 

These systems are often used as a pre-filter to limit contaminants reaching subsequent filtration equipment. Systems are available with flow rates to 250 GPM. Units can be used with water soluble fluids, straight oils and washwaters. 

Magnadrum filters are suitable for removing ferrous sludge and chips on both water soluble and neat oils. Typical applications are centerless and heavy stock removal grinding machines, honing, gear cutting and chip-producing machinery.

Two stage filtration systems combining the Magnadrum and media filtration are available.
